Apply on healed wound. Skin should be dry and moisture free.
Mepiform® is most effectively applied after your wound heals to avoid scarring or to remove newly formed or old scars.
Cut to scar shape if needed, then remove the release film
Based on your scar area, cut the silicone sheet to utilize the sheet for the maximum period. Post cutting, remove the release film of the silicon sheet till midway.
Apply Mepiform® to the scar.
It's just like applying a band-aid. Mepiform's long lasting self adherent properties sticks to the scar smoothly.
Reapply after daily cleansing of the scar only If needed.
Daily cleansing and inspection of the scar is recommended if required. Remove and reapply post cleansing. Mepiform's reusable sticky properties are most effective till 7 days. Reapplying a new sheet post this period is recommended.
2-4 Months of dedicated use as best practice.
